Cordova Bay Golf Course
Beautiful public course and well taken care of. According to a local, there is a full time horticulturists on site which shows from all the lush vegetation. Although we did not get to play due to a tournament going on, we did enjoy using the driving range. We also saw numerous deer on the course.

I play a lot of golf all over the US. This is by far one of my favorite places ro play. Fantastic conditions, great staff and a wonderful patio to enjoy an after round pint and a bite. You will not be disappointed, however getting a tee time might be a challenge.

Prime location and beautiful surroundings! Stunning views and golf facilities within 20 mins from downtown. Highly recommend this place specially if it’s sunny out. Reserve your tee time or go to the driving range and enjoy this place. And have a bite afterwards! Great customer service and lots of parking.

It is beautiful. The best thing about this course is the way they keep the plants, trees, and flowers. It is a nature preserve.❤

Good for an occasional game in the summer when you get to play off real grass. It is a nice par 71 course with good challenging holes and greens. The staff at this course are not the friendliest, which I think is well known for locals. It is the vibe they go for it seems, has not changed for years. We played here mid April and a lot of the bunkers were ground under repair and one green was a temporary green. No staff or starter told us anything about what we would see on the course that day, I expect that the started tells you about these things. The driving range has flags but there is no distances to let you know how far each flag is. Luckily a player in the bay next to us had a range finder and told us approximately the distances. Again, I would expect this from a quality club. They do have a Shot Tracer area which likely tells you lots about your shot but again, just give me the damn distances for the flags.Decent golf course overall. In the winter you have to play off plastic matts. So, for those golfers who prefer to play off real grass avoid in the winter months. The club staff and vibe is a bit stuck up compared to other public clubs I play at.

Fun, clean, and well designed. I personally prefer Highland Pacific, but I've golfed far more at Cordova Bay and have more practice there. It's a good course for practice.

It’s our first time travelling to the island and we wanted to golf a nice course. We had SO many options for high end experiences. We ended up booking here by chance and we’re we ever impressed. From the min we walked in the pro shop staff was incredible welcoming us and telling us exactly where to go to get rental clubs and cart rentals. Told us to check in with the starter who also went above and beyond telling us play strategies to various holes, views, where to see nature and eagles nests. From all the wait staff, snack shop lady ( who packed us a cooler for our drinks ) to even the marshals who were welcoming and friendly. Thank you for a great experience. The golf carts had amazing gps and were the cleanest and most comfortable carts we have ever had the pleasure to ride in.The course was in fantastic condition and the small details of every garden, tree, shrub were incredible. The water hazards were clean, the bunkers were trimmed and had beautiful sand. The bathrooms and water stations on the course were clean and located conveniently. We have golfed many many courses all over and this was one of the best values and experiences we have ever had.A must try for sure.

A beautiful public 18-hole course (best public course in Victoria) features beautiful views of Haro Strait and on a clear day, Mount Baker can be seen in the distance. There’s an excellent driving range, pro-shop, full-service lounge and Bill Mattick’s Restaurant where I’ve never had a bad meal! The Ridge course is an excellent par-3 course with tranquil fountains and some of the best ocean views in the city. All located at Mattick’s Farm with its great selection of shops (Red Barn is here) and a miniature golf course too (Summer season only).

I had the pleasure of finally playing at Cordova Bay last week when the weather was really nice. The course was in great condition although it was difficult to find the golf balls with too many fallen leaves throughout the course. I think this is a great course for seniors because the whole course is laid out on a flat ground with no up and downs. No need to rent the power cart! It was a good change from always playing at challenging courses like highlands and olypmpic view. I would definitely come back here to treat my parents and friends.

Beautiful par 3, 9 hole. Greens are a little fast but perfect for practice on short game.
